ARMCHAIR BACALAR

Armchair Bacalar by David Valdivia is part of a collection of furniture based in the town of Bacalar; located in the beautiful state of Quintana Roo. Mexico.

The armchair takes inspiration from the Bacalar lagoon, which seeks to generate an experience of relaxation. One of the main innovations of this design is the shape of the seat, that is made of the same piece together with the forearms, thus causing the feeling that the furniture is embracing you.

The materials and textures evoke this beautiful area of southern Mexico.

- Tzalam wood is a tropical wood close to the conceptual place.

- The upholstery in light tones, seeks to convey the warmth and calm of the lagoon, and the use of neutral tones help to adapt them to all spaces.

- The decorative cushion is a special design, which presents a purple gradient, evoking the sunsets on this site.
